Programme Content
Enjoy watching cartoons like The Clone Wars? Learn how animators at Cartoon Network, Disney and Pixar create cartoons and movies. In this exciting program, you’ll learn all about animation. Begin by creating your own drawings and then explore ways to modify them on the computer. Learn how to bring your art to life, animate your drawings using timelines and keyframes and by incorporating sound and special effects. Then burn your short animation cartoons to a DVD that you can take home and share with your family and friends!
Requirements
This course is ideal for young minds who enjoy drawing and watching their drawings come to life through animation. Want to learn how to be an animator or cartoonist? Then come join us!

Adventures in Art & Graphic Design
Unleash your creativity through art! Learn how professional digital artists make great designs and create fine art. This course gives budding artists the opportunity to learn the basics and principles of professional art, including line, shape, form, color, proportion, balance, harmony and more. Every camper uses these techniques while bringing his/her creation to life using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Project work may include getting to design a web page concept, photo montage, magazine or book cover or other type of digital media. Campers get to choose the project that excites them the most, while professional instruction guides them along every step of the way.

Explore web design with Professional tools
Experience a comprehensive web instruction program that gives you practical demonstrations and projects to demystify HTML and web development. You’ll get the confidence to create web pages that meet current web standards and display perfectly. Learn the skill you need to create web pages using HTML and CSS code. Understand HTML/XHTML, the power of the CSS box model, single and multicolumn layouts, plus, you’ll explore styling links, optimizing images and learn how to apply internal and external stylesheets. At the end of the course, independent work time will be provided for students to practice their coding skills and produce a small website. It is suitable for people of all ages, from every work discipline, for people entering the job market, and for those who work at home. The ECDL is designed specifically for those who want to obtain a qualification in computing to enable them to develop their ICT skills and enhance their career prospects.
The ECDL syllabus is divided into seven modules, 6 practical and 1 theoretical. A test in each module must be passed before the ECDL is awarded, although those who have passed 4 modules and do not wish to pursue the full qualification may apply for an ECDL Start certificate The 7 ECDL modules are as follows :
