Progression Route
For those wishing to study in the UK there are more than 100 different institutions to which they can apply. For the student, the choice of institution and the preferred country of study is wide and varied.
In order to simplify the process for all those students wishing to study in the UK the ICM has established a number of strategic partnerships with public sector providers each of which welcomes applications from suitably qualified ICM graduates.
Students can progress to degree entry as follows:-
- Certificate Awards - enable the student to apply for entry to the first year of a relevant degree programme.
- Diploma Awards - enable the student to apply for entry to the second year of a relevant degree programme.
- Advanced Diploma Awards - enable the student to apply for direct entry into the final year of a relevant 3 year degree programme.
- Graduate Diploma Awards - enable the student to apply for direct entry to postgraduate (e.g. Masters) degree programmes.
- Postgraduate Diploma Awards - enable the student to apply for exemptions onto postgraduate (e.g. Masters) degree programmes. For example, a maximum of 120 credits exemptions may be obtained from a 180 credit MBA programme
Additional information
Some Honours degree programmes are of four years duration. Those Students holding an Advanced Diploma may be required to complete both years 3 and 4.
Entry is subject to the specific requirements of the HE institutions:
- The student must have obtained satisfactory Examination Grades (e.g. A, B or C+ passes) and
- The student must demonstrate that they meet the requirements in respect of their command of English (written and spoken).
